Nikki Bazajou, Sailfish Head Coach
Hi my name is Nikki Bazajou and I am twenty and a sophomore at Texas State University. I am currently studying Pre- Physical Therapy. I am a YoungLife leader at Wimberly High School and am in the Chi Omega sorority. I began swimming when I was six and started swimming year around at Alamo Area Aquatics when I was eight, which led to being on the national team and the captain for the MacArthur High School swim team. I helped instruct the Stone Ridge Shockwaves for four years in high school before becoming an assistant coach for two years. I love building relationships with the kids and seeing them succeed. Most of all I enjoy seeing them love the sport and wanting to come back for more. I believe in hard work and dedication but am always up for making it a good time. I am so excited for this season and look forward to seeing what the Sailfish can do!
Ashley Hill, Sailfish Assistant Coach
Howdy! My name is Ashley Hill! I am 20 years old, and I am a sophomore Special Education major at Texas A&M. I attended MacArthur High School for a year and a half, and graduated from Caney Creek High School in Conroe, TX. I am so happy to be back in San Antonio! I swam competitively for eleven years, including six years of summer league, eight years swimming club for Alamo Area Aquatics where I was on the National Team, and two years swimming for Magnolia Swim Club in the Elite group.
I was an All-State distance freestyler and butterflier in high school, and was the captain of my school’s swim team for three years. I have taught swimming lessons both publicly and privately for five years, and I have been a lifeguard for three summers. I am so excited to be a part of the Canyon Springs team; it’s going to be a great summer!
